Neither Deal Pride nor its representatives will be responsible for any injury, loss, harm or damage that may occur to ‘The Sponsor’ from any cause whatsoever. Under no circumstances will Deal Pride be liable for lost profits or other special or consequential damage. The foregoing will apply regardless of how any claim is brought or how damages are characterised, including whether brought in contract, tort or otherwise.

Event Contents

The Sponsor may photograph or otherwise record its presence at the 2024 Deal Pride event, but will not otherwise record or reproduce any portion of the 2024 Deal Pride event, including the Deal Pride logo, marks or presence of other sponsors, the entertainment, or the attendees, in any format, without Deal Pride’s prior written consent. Sponsor’s actions to photograph or otherwise record its presence will take place only in the public access areas of the 2024 Deal Pride event and may not interfere with the normal operations of the event. Unless otherwise provided, the payment or services and the sponsor benefits described in this agreement are solely related to the Deal Pride 2024 event to be held on 13th July 2024. The sponsorship period lasts from the date that this contract is signed until 31st December 2024.

Sponsor understanding

The Sponsor understands as follows: the values set forth in the sponsorship package are estimates based upon general sponsorship information available to the Host; the audience multiplier based upon estimates of Deal Pride attendance and actual attendance figures may vary materially. No portion of the sponsorship payment or in-kind services are subject to refund for any reason except as provided herein. Sponsorships are not exclusive unless otherwise set forth in
the package.

The Host may terminate this contract with 28 days’ written notice. In the event of termination for any reason other than failure to provide contracted fees or services, the Host may substitute an event with equivalent benefits with the approval of the sponsor or shall refund any cash fee received from the Sponsor by the Host. The Sponsor shall not terminate this agreement without the approval of the Host.

Only a written instrument executed by both parties may amend this agreement.

This agreement, governed by the laws of England and Wales, is binding upon all of the parties successors, and assigns. The sponsorship fee can be paid upon submission of an invoice from The Host to The Sponsor by bank transfer, with payment terms on the invoice being 28 days:

Failure by the Sponsor to pay fees by 31st May 2024 (or another date as agreed in writing between the Host and the Sponsor) may result in termination of this agreement and withdrawal of sponsorship rights. Representatives of the Host and the Sponsor shall schedule in-kind services in writing.

Support of Equal Rights by The Sponsor

The Sponsor agrees to support the equal rights and core values of the LGBTQ+ community.
For the avoidance of doubt LGBTQ+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (or questioning) + others.
The word ‘pride’ is an integral cultural concept within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex (LGBTQI) community, representing solidarity, collectivity, and identity as well as resistance to discrimination and violence. Its associated symbolism (e.g., rainbow colours) communicates to individuals that LGBTQ+ members are welcome as valuable members of the community.

The Core Values

  • Recognise and promote awareness of LGBTQ+ history
  • Celebrate the contributions made by LGBTQ+ people to society
  • Reflect on the history of discrimination of LGBTQ+ people
  • Educate and inform subsequent generations of LGBTQ+ history, highlighting discrimination and celebrating diversity
  • Focus national attention on the LGBTQ+ community, and enhance LGBTQ+ equality at a local and national level
  • Champion LGBTQ+ rights internationally
  • Challenge and eradicate homophobia, biphobia and transphobia
  • Promote an inclusive and equal society, free from homophobia, biphobia and transphobia
